The ISHIMR Conference, being held in Kalmar, Sweden, brings together researchers in the general area of health information management and health informatics, providing a forum for the presentation and discussion of their research activities. The conference theme is "Evaluation and implementation of e-health and health information initiatives: international perspectives". This is an exciting time in healthcare when informatics is making the difference for integration of care, providing tools for healthcare that are not available in any other form, and enabling opportunities for improving the quality of care provided.

We look forward to seeing your submission by 04 May 2009.
